transforming information

into knowledge

‘Between the wish and the thing the world lies waiting.’

I’ve always been drawn to the spaces where creativity meets logic—where music entangles with data, where stories become engines for growth. Over the years, I’ve worn a few hats: I’ve analyzed heaps of data for evasive insights, taught people how to harness AI in their everyday work, developed game worlds that spark imagination, and even spent a good slice of life as a musician, chasing chords that resonate deeper than words.

At my core, I’m a bridge-builder. I believe in the healing power of shared purpose—when we align our talents and ideas toward something bigger than ourselves, real magic happens. Whether it’s guiding someone through an AI workflow they never thought they could master or helping a creative team shape a new tabletop campaign, I find my stride in moments where curiosity meets collaboration.

I can’t claim to have answers to every modern dilemma, but I do bring the lessons I’ve gathered—technical expertise, hard-earned insights, a musician’s ear for harmony—to each new conversation. If you’re ready to merge practicality with possibility, logic with imagination, I’m here to help make it happen. Because at the end of the day, it’s a rising tide that lifts all ships, and the only way to widen your pond is to ensure everybody near you stays afloat.

some things

Here’s a little about me. Couple of specifics, so you know what exactly you’re dealing with.

I was raised in a pretty crazy environment, and only recently managed to collect enough of myself and make an escape. I emerged into a bright and noisy and confusing world little over a decade ago, and have since been reveling ecstatic in the face of fascinating technology and unthinkably complex systems.

I’ve always had a fondness for the written word. There’s such permanence to the things we commit to paper. And where I find myself baffled by the manner and disposition of my fellow man, I can always retreat to the captive thoughts of the old authors, themselves equally baffled and so skillful in describing their bafflement.

I find a joy shared is a joy multiplied. I am fond of the rain, and animals seem to trust me. Some days I can stare at a screen and see nothing, and other days I can stare at the same screen and still see nothing but eventually decide that is okay.

I believe we all want good things. Its just how we define goodness, and what a person is willing to do for their own peace that determines where trust can be safely placed. I believe a question that cannot be answered is better than an answer that cannot be questioned.

What else do I believe? I am not entirely certain. I am still trying to get what They believed out of my head. I know love and loss are both conditional to being human, I know generosity is our most vital trait. I know also resignation is life’s first lesson, and nobody wants to be here but nobody wants to leave.

Maybe you believe these things too! Maybe your experiences have shown you otherwise. I’m welcome to your perspective, though it is a little unfair for me to benefit from your hard-earned wisdoms without having to pay the toll of your own troubles and trials.

Anyway, here are some other things we can talk about.

You could say I know a guy. (Its me, I’m him.)

You could also say ‘upcast polymorph’ but who has time for crowd control? Not when blasting goes so hard.

I’ve been a DM and content creator for twenty something years now, and I’ve never had a bad session. Let me show you what you are capable of coming up with.

me.

Here are my strengths. I would like to let them work for you, also.

  • It starts with the right words.

How do we interact with large language models like chatGPT?

Often presented as tools for cheating on exams or taking over the world, these AI are far better suited to taking your thoughts and giving them form.

I work with this fundamental new medium to learn your specific needs and train it to listen the way you need it to.

  • With nearly three decades of gaming experience, I’ve come to see game mechanics as a language—one that speaks as powerfully as the written word or the sung verse. When players interact with a system, they are, in essence, interacting with its creator. Every design choice—whether active or passive—tells a story, sets a tone, and shapes the player’s experience.

How you design your game is as critical as how you develop it. With my expertise, I can help you refine your ideas and methods into mechanics and systems that resonate with players, delivering experiences they didn’t even know they were missing. I understand the market, its gaps, and, most importantly, the stories and emotions waiting to be told in an interactive form. Together, we can create something that speaks directly to the hearts of gamers everywhere.

  • Every project has a story to tell—it’s just waiting to be uncovered.

Data is more than numbers and charts; it’s the voice of your work, revealing insights, patterns, and opportunities hidden beneath the surface. With the right approach, those seemingly disconnected pieces of information can come together to form a narrative that guides decisions and fuels innovation.

I specialize in translating raw data into actionable knowledge. Whether it’s refining workflows, identifying trends, or making sense of complex datasets, I can help you find the story your project is waiting to tell—and turn it into a roadmap for success.

  • Every world has a story to tell—it just needs someone to breathe life into it.

As a dungeon master and game designer, I’ve spent years crafting living, breathing worlds where every detail, from the weathered cobblestones of a village square to the whispers of ancient gods, adds to the tapestry of a shared narrative. Whether it’s for tabletop adventures or immersive fiction, my passion lies in creating settings that feel alive—places where characters don’t just exist, but belong, where every choice echoes through a world that responds in kind.

Through my stories, I specialize in distilling the essence of these worlds into powerful, vivid snapshots. I bring the weight of history, the spark of magic, and the pulse of humanity to each piece, creating something not just to read, but to experience. Let me help you transform your ideas into stories and settings that captivate, inspire, and invite others to step into the world you’ve imagined.

  • My life has been along a few roads less traveled, not all of them paved. With the years I have left, I am committed to reaching the hearts left behind, giving voice to the songs unsung, and providing wings to those who have been grounded.

Naturally, I don’t yet know how to realize these ambitions fully. So, I’m back in school, self-guiding through creative outlets like developing a board game, and generally scrambling to make up for stolen time.

I don’t mean to sound drastic but they don’t manufacture the cloth I’m cut from. I am at once both unyielding and softened; I want for you to benefit from what I’ve learned, without needing to pay the brutal toll of experience.

some stuff i’m working on.

Lazy doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means doing the important stuff as smoothly as possible, as efficiently as probable, and so completely it doesn’t need to be done a second time.

Veil & Venture

V&V is a high-fantasy board game that blends strategic depth, immersive storytelling, and dynamic world-building into an endlessly replayable experience. Players take on the roles of adventurers in an untamed land, exploring modular hex-based maps that reveal themselves as the game unfolds. Every turn offers opportunities for discovery, as players encounter unique regions, trigger quests, and battle escalating threats. With its hybrid gameplay system, actions are resolved simultaneously, encouraging teamwork while allowing individual goals to shine. The stakes grow over time, with monsters adapting to player progress and time-sensitive objectives adding a layer of urgency.

At its core, Veil & Venture is about growth and connection—not just with the world, but with each other. Characters gain skills based on their equipment and master abilities through practice, allowing players to shape their adventurers into unique builds. Personal motivations, hidden through the Unveiled Fate system, introduce a social deduction aspect, creating tension and intrigue as players pursue secret goals while working toward the collective mission of taming the region. The game’s art and design are inspired by the lush, intricate style of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, crafting a visual and thematic feast where every session feels alive, unpredictable, and uniquely yours.
