The correct tool. A lot of the AI buzz feels like putting Lambo parts on a Civic chassis; you don’t need these big, complex systems to solve your most expensive problems. An effective use of AI targets your painpoints and opens up a bottleneck you might not know has been costing you money.
Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice
Your business has its own suite of unique challenges, requiring its own tailored solutions. The first step to understanding your challenges is a full-system audit. It isn’t as bad as it sounds. I just have a couple conversations with you and then with your team, and make suggestions of what AI tools are available to help.

What does 2 hours of sales rep work look like? It isn’t two hours with a customer. That time is spent sifting Linkedin for prospects, cross-referencing Salesforce, copying data field-by-field into CRM. AI could be doing all of that, freeing up your sales team to be doing what they do best.

You have a relatively busy day but things really start to drag in the afternoon, because this is when you have to Cross-reference client names with a Verified list before you can engage them. This process takes around fifteen minutes per lead, which isn’t a lot but it adds up very quickly. Your bottleneck is this boring step. Get the bot to deliver you ten leads in the time it took you to muddle through two.

You’ve built your company from the bottom up. You know the ins and outs of your trade and each of the tried-and-true tricks and maneuvers you’ve mastered to keep the ship afloat. Now is a perfect time to gather all that knowledge you’ve developed over the years and turn it into a full training program for your teams.

She does the finances, you do all the sales and estimation. You’ve been at it so long, you’re ready to sell. But you can’t, because all your knowledge is divided between two people. Forms, emails, databases make for perfect candidates for AI grunt work.
Is your output predictable?
Standardized ‘yes, no’ responses to daily tasks are excellent ways to program little ‘if/then’ statements into a helper bot.
Are decisions rule-based?
Your expertise is still king when it comes to judgement-driven decisions, but anything that can follow logic can be taken off your plate.
Is the work repeated often?
Every Monday at 6, do you have to drag yourself from the couch and tinker away with spreadsheets? Let the bot do that for you.
