From Messy Ops to Measurable Results

Less friction, more delivery.

The Work

Most operational problems are not mysterious. The process made sense once, or it was inherited, or nobody had time to question it. The result is the same regardless: work that takes longer than it should, handoffs that drop things, and outcomes nobody can quite explain.

My job is to find where the friction grinds the most. Then we fix it.

The Business Analytics Method

Requirements That Stick

Stakeholder interviews become user stories. User stories become acceptance criteria. Every step clear, testable, and traceable. No ambiguity left to fester by the time work begins.

Process Improvement

Map where you are. Measure how it serves your goals. Design where you need to be. Reduce what costs you and keep what works. The best version of your process is usually already in there somewhere.

Change That Lasts

A solution nobody uses is not a solution. Training materials, knowledge articles, quick-start guides, and adoption checks ensure the work actually lands. Gradual, deliberate, yours.

Effective Reporting

Music bypasses the mind and goes straight to the heart. Good data visualization does the same thing. Scorecards and dashboards that put the right number in front of the right person at the right moment.

The Process

  • Discover — Stakeholder interviews, a quick data pull, baseline metrics. Figure out what we're actually dealing with.

  • Diagnose — Process maps, pain-point analysis, root cause conversations. Find where things break and why.

  • Design — Requirements, target process, dashboard spec. A clear picture of where we're going before anyone builds anything.

  • Deliver — Pilot, train, measure, iterate. Once.

  • Hand-off — Clean documentation, designated owners, and a ninety-day check-in plan. The work continues after I leave.

Most engagements land within four to eight weeks depending on scope.

My Services

  • Stakeholder interviews and workshops. User stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. A traceability matrix and sign-off package that keeps everyone honest through the life of the project.

  • SIPOC, swimlanes, and bottleneck analysis. Current state versus next state design. Standard operating procedures that people will actually read and follow.

  • Executive scorecards and operational dashboards. Target setting and alert rules. A data dictionary and metric definitions so everyone is measuring the same thing.

  • Training decks and quick-reference sheets. A communication plan and adoption checks. Hypercare support after go-live, because the first few weeks after launch are where most good work quietly falls apart.

FAQ

How is this different from project management? Project management keeps the train on time. Business analysis makes sure the train is going to the right station with the right cargo.

Do you work with our existing tools and vendors? Yes. I integrate with your stack, document decisions, and make sure there are named owners for everything before I leave.

What do you need from us? Access to three to six stakeholders, two or three sample reports or data exports, and one executive sponsor who can make decisions.

Will we get training materials? Yes. Quick-reference guides, SOPs, and a short video walkthrough if you want one.
